Design and assembly of lightweight metal structures, 2014-2018
NCCR Digital Fabrication research project
The objective of this research is the coordinated multi-robotic assembly of complex lightweight structures. This work includes technical investigations of enhanced robotic control for the position and assembly of building elements free in space, and the methodological investigations of related digital design processes, novel constructive systems, and possible application scenarios.

The research is pursued in the framework of the National Competence Centre of Research (NCCR) Digital Fabrication in collaboration with the research project Robotic Fabrication Simulation for Spatial Structures.
