3. Grasshopper
Basic introduction to Grasshopper
What is Grasshopper?
Grasshopper is a visual programming editor developed by David Rutten at Robert McNeel & Associates. Together with Rhino, it offers the opportunity to work with precise parametric control over models, allowing the exploration of generative design workflows. Is a graphical algorithm editor that is integrated within Rhino modeling tools. Algorithms are Step-by-Step procedures designed to perfom operations. Grasshopper can be used to design algorithms in order to automate tasks in Rhino.
