Clemens Klein graduated from the Berlin Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2011. During his BSc. studies he was working for the Chair for Building Construction and Design Prof. Regine Leibinger where he became involved in digital fabrication for the planning and realisation of a timber pavilion on the island of Rügen, Germany.
After his graduation he departed on a study trip to Japan where he worked for Shigeru Ban Architects in Tokyo. Among other competitions in the office he was planning permanent paper tube structures by implementing parametric modelling software. Since 2012 Clemens persues his studies as a Master of Science in Architecture Student at ETH Zurich and works as a teaching assistant at the Chair of Architecture and Digital Fabrication (Prof. Fabio Gramazio, Prof. Matthias Kohler) at the ETH Zurich since 2014. In parallel to his studies at ETH he was working at Markus Schietsch Architects on the construction planning of the new elephant house in the Zoo Zurich. |
