Achilleas is a Greek architect that focuses on computational design and digital fabrication. He graduated from the University of Patras with a Diploma in Architecture in 2010. In 2013, he received his Master of Advanced Studies degree in Architecture and Information from ETH Zurich. Prior to Architecture, he studied at the Technological Educational Institute of Patras, receiving a Bachelor degree in Restoration and Renovation of Buildings in 2004.
He has taught computational workshops at conferences and festivals, and led robotic fabrication courses at Keio University and ETH Zurich. His professional experience as an architect and project leader includes small to medium scale housing projects, recording studios and music venues in Greece. He is the leading programmer for the online teaching platform of the Chair of Architecture and Building Process at ETH Zurich. Within Gramazio Kohler Research his research on acoustics is driven from his interest in sound, music, and computational design. |
