Indra is a registered member of the Indonesian Architect Association (IAI) with 12 years of experience. He studied architecture engineering at Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung – Indonesia and received the Best Design Awards for his final project.

He completed his Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture and Digital Fabrication at ETH Zurich. In his thesis “Mesh Mould Earth Construction” he studied the adaptation of the Mesh Mould technology of concrete and steel reinforcement to earth and natural reinforcement materials.

He has been working as a senior designer at Aedas Singapore from 2013 to 2019. He is a dynamic and proactive designer experienced in many types and scales of projects, including commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments, and he is involved in various Southeast Asian projects in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

After completing his MAS at ETH Zurich, he joined Gramazio Kohler Research to continue his research on topics related to his MAS thesis, both in computational design within the digital construction field and with natural materials.
