Jie Li graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in CUMTB in 2011 and completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the ETH in 2017. Now he is studying Master of Architecture at the ETH. From 2011 to 2012 he worked at the architecture office TAO in Beijing, China. There he worked on various projects. In 2012 he worked at the architectural office Tsinghua in Beijing for a monument project. From 2014 to 2015 he worked as teaching assistant at the Professorship Technical Installation at the ETH Zurich (Prof. Arno Schlüter). From 2015 he worked as an architect with Lukas Imhof Architekten in Zurich. There he worked on a school building and a roof rebuild project. In 2016, Jie Li joined the Gramazio Kohler Research Group at ETH Zurich, where he collaborated on the "Spatial Timber Units" project. At the same time, he still works for Joos & Mathys Architekten in Zurich.
