Keerthana Udaykumar is an architect who earned her Bachelor in Architecture from ANNA University in India. Carpentry and documentation of South Asian stone structures were her special areas of focus in Architecture School. Post graduation she gained professional experience in architecture and art projects of multiple scale, working with firms in India and Sou Fujimoto Architects in Japan. In 2016, she did an art residency in LAMO, Ladakh.
Interested in the interrelationships between geometry, material and fabrication she enrolled in
the MAS DFAB program in 2018. Currently, she is working on her master thesis titled "Robotic Timber Assembly: Conflicts & their Significance".
Moving forward, her focus is to develop computational design tools. |
