Dominic Weber is a Master’s student in Architecture at ETH Zurich and a Teaching Assistant for Gramazio Kohler Research’s course “Coding Architecture”.
Raised in the DRC and France, his diverse background spans competitive dressage, bespoke tailoring in London, and fashion design—experiences that culminated in a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from EPFL Lausanne (2023).
Parametric design and computational thinking are fundamental to his work and design process. During his studies, he had the privilege of participating in GKR’s last “Immersive Design” studio, and of studying under Prof. Yves Weinand at the iBois Lab, as well as Prof. Jeffrey Huang at the MxD Lab. During a year-long internship at Burckhardt Architecture, he had the opportunity to test and apply computational solutions to BIM workflows in the field.
Aiming to synthesize fashion, digital fabrication, and architectural systems, he seeks to pioneer interdisciplinary approaches at the nexus of design innovation. |
