Angela Yoo is an architectural designer from New Zealand holding a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Auckland. During her studies she was a tutor of design semester studios and worked at Open Media Lab, a research group dedicated to digital fabrication technologies in the field of architecture. Upon graduating with First Class Honours in 2014, she worked at Monk Mackenzie Architects gaining professional experience in geometrically complex spatial and bridge structures. This fuelled her interest in developing novel and harmonious constructions in the expanded design space enabled by robotic fabrication technologies. She is currently a student of the MAS in Architecture and Digital Fabrication at ETH Zurich and since February 2018 has been working as a student assistant at Gramazio Kohler Research. |
